Next, establish an FTP connection to ftp://ftp.cdpcom.com/ using the FTP Client application. We do not support the Passive mode FTP connection type. To disable Passive mode, select Edit Settings. Expand Connection then select Firewall. Uncheck PASV mode.

For FTP Clients Provided by Microsoft, use the following table to determine the default connection mode that each FTP Client supports and switch it to Active Mode, if necessary. For example, for firewall and DSL modem compatibility with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, select Tools Internet Options. Select the Advanced tab. Under the Browsing category, uncheck Use passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility).
