Sales Executive

CDP Communications is currently seeking an experienced Sales Executive with the following qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and procure new business opportunities.
• Conduct pre-sales demonstrations.
• Manage sales cycles.
• Attend relevant industry conferences.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Solution sell in a specific vertical market.
• Ability to work independently.
• Work with remote pre-sales staff and marketing personnel to align products and solutions with customer/prospect requirements.
• Maintain account, pipeline, and territory records, update management on account activity, and provide accurate revenue forecasts.

Required Experience/Technical Skills:

• Proven ability to work remotely from head office.
• Relevant and long-standing customer/prospect relationships with Fortune 1000 companies.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated successful sales experience.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Pre Sales Engineer

CDP Communications is currently seeking a Pre Sales Engineer with more than 10 years of relevant business experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the translation and construction of a client's complex business problems into innovative technology solutions within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Support New Business Development activities by participating in client meetings, performing Proof of Concepts, writing Statements of Work, and presenting architecture and technical vision
• Be a key player on a Business Development Team from requirements definition phase through implementation, including software installation and configuration.
• Additional responsibilities can include testing applications, creating demonstration CDs with AVIs, onsite presentations, and participation in tradeshows.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and interact in a professional manner with colleagues, clients and operational colleagues.

Required Experience/Technical Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Preference will be given to those with strong background in IBM or Xerox Data Streams.
• Foreign language skills are an asset.
• Unix experience is a plus.

Senior Software Developer

CDP is looking for a creative, experienced Senior Software Developer with the following qualifications:

• 5-10 years experience in software development
• Advanced C++ programming skills
• Working knowledge of Windows NT
• Exposure to Unix (AIX, HP/UX, Solaris, Linux) and OS/390 operating systems a definite asset
• Knowledge of IBM AFP, Xerox Metacode, Adobe Postscript and HP PCL print data streams
• Familiarity with electronic document formats (PDF, TIFF, HTML/XML/SGML)
• Excellent communication skills
